“I got a Hublot, I call it Tebow, I strap that bitch with a gator band”

A little different than the usual car posts…

When I picked up my big bang, I got the standard rubber strap to go with it and didn’t really think of my other options. Ever since we went to Vegas for the bachelor party a few months ago and visited the Hublot boutique, we got a chance to take a look and try on a whole range of Hublots – Aero Bangs, King Power F1’s, Carbon Big Bangs – all on different bands. Rubber, tire tread, gummy croc and even the Nomex band which was my favourite and most comfortable.

Last week Diana and I booked a trip to Vegas in December for dirt cheap and I was planning on going back to the boutique to pick up the gummy croc this time. Out of curiousity and impatience, I decided to give Calgary Jewelery a call to see if they could get me one sooner. The good news is that they can and it was cheaper than the boutique in Vegas. The bad news is that it’s going to take 8 weeks for delivery straight from Switzerland. It’s like waiting for car parts all of the sudden!

Anyways – peep the pics to see how nice the gummy croc is. It even looks super comfy. I stole the pictures from a member on TimeZone with the same watch. I am stoked.
